We are almost a month into this project. It is hard to believe the changes that have happened in what seems like much longer than a month. Today the waterproofing was done to the foundation and the backfilling began. Ray meets the plumber and the electrical engineer tomorrow. I'm thrilled with all that has happened, but a little disappointed that Mom and Dad probably won't get to see any framing when they are here for the weekend. Oh well, it gives them a good excuse to come again soon. ;o) .
When the girls and I were at the site today it was about 90 degrees. We were burning up. When we walked into the basement the temp immediately dropped. It was nice and comfortable with a little breeze blowing up the cove. I could see our view over the top of the girls and could almost visualize myself sitting on my patio. That will be nice. That picture opens our blog for today. The others are the backfilling and waterproofing of the front and another tree picture.

You may not have any framing up by the weekend but it will still be 'show & tell' Looking forward to it.
